  • Collection Process & Usage

  • How we use information that you provide

Broadly speaking, we use voluntary personal information for purposes of administering our business activities, providing service and support and making available other products and services to our customers and prospective customers. Users under the age of 18 will not be asked to provide any personal information for the use of our Services. Occasionally, we may also use the information we collect to notify adult users about important changes to our website, new services and special offers we think you will find valuable. The lists used to send you product and service offers are managed by MPCCI, not third parties, and designed to safeguard the security and privacy of all personal information provided by our users. You may at any time notify us of your desire not to receive these offers.

  • How we use information collected from cookies

We use website browser software tools such as cookies and web server logs to gather information about our website users' browsing activities, in order to constantly improve our services for our users. This information assists us to design and arrange our web pages in the most user-friendly manner and to continually improve our services to better meet the needs of our users and prospective users. Cookies help us collect important business and technical statistics. The information in the cookies lets us trace the paths followed by users to our website as they move from one page to another. Web server logs allow us to count how many people visit our website and evaluate our website's visitor capacity. We do not use these technologies to capture your individual email address or any personally identifying information about you.

Data collected from users under the age of 18, is not personally identifiable and only includes information surrounding the completion of a MPCCI virtual lesson. This information includes time spent using materials and whether the user completed a task. It is aggregated to the instructor (users over the age of 18) as a “class” to ensure that personal identifiers are not visible or available. Users under the age of 18 will receive an untraceable, unique code to access MPCCI services, to ensure Personally Identifiable information is not collected.

Data will be stored using AWS cloud storage servers with robust security measures pursuant to the recommendations of our cloud storage provider. Data retention will last up to one year and then be permanently deleted from the server on a rolling basis.

  • Security

  • How we secure information transmissions

When you send confidential personal information to us on our website, our server software encrypts the information you input before it is sent to us. Other emails that you may send to us may not be secure unless we advise you that security measures will be in place prior to you transmitting the information. For that reason, we ask that you do not send confidential information such as Social Security, credit card, or account numbers to us through an unsecured email.

There is always a risk when storing and sharing personal information. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with our service is no longer secure (for example, if you feel that the security of your account has been compromised), please contact us at education@morvenpark.org
